@auntienan95 I agree. I just noticed it too, if not stiff then it seemed like something was irritating his legs during the piaffe and passage

The way these two performed.. It's like a work of art in itself! This video always gives me goosebumps.

his piaffe and passage might leave something to be desired, but Rusty's tempi changes are phenomenal.

By: blablubii. on 19 Jan 10, 22:01:52
thats ulla salzgeber and rusty(germany).ich liebe sie!:)
By: thebluebot. on 13 Jan 10, 00:45:35
well yeah, this is a classically trained horse from germany, not an overused, over-trained horse from the netherlands that if he doesnt perform correctly gets punished. this horse is actually happy, compared to where salinero is not, he doesnt even halt now, same with moorlands, they r both ticking time bombs until they finally snap, mentally or physically. theres only so much a horse can take

PERO NO ME GUSTA QUE USE ESPUELAS

Looks like he has some problems in his right hind leg there.
By: SelmerLibertyOwner. on 01 Jan 10, 10:28:08
One thing's for sure ... this horse is no Salinero. And the tail swishing is annoying. Other than that, Nice horse! :D
By: H3R1Skyline. on 28 Dec 09, 08:34:24
He certainly does something funky with his back legs in the piaffe. Nice horse tho, mind don't even do piaffe :P

"she's on the back of a horse, in a saddle. that makes it riding. which makes her a rider" ---that's how you take it?! than EVERYONE who sits on horse is a rider for you! watch my videos if you wish, then comment. I've been riding for 10 years, of course not at such level, but that style (like on this video) neither is my goal! Do you even know the names - Hempfling, Nevzorov, Karl, Borelle, Beran???

she's on the back of a horse, in a saddle. that makes it riding. which makes her a rider. and how many prizes have YOU collected? I bet the only think you can ride is your computer chair.
By: RollingThunderHorse. on 16 Sep 09, 21:59:36
beautiful! thanks for posting!
By: vcirclebar. on 22 Aug 09, 10:36:28
Fluid- you have to remember riders have extremely different riding styles (esp depending on your country of origin). Though this riding style may not be what everyone would consider as the most desirable- it is on point. So, yes, it is RIDING, and proper at that.

Absolutely fantastic... I don't dare inquire as to how much time was put into preparing for this performance. Takes a lot of dedication to get that far...
By: dockie10. on 05 Aug 09, 16:15:07
i agree with you tcody86 non of us could of done it any beter, we should be jelous, that this Rusty can keep her horse like that under control, that she can dance with that horse!!!
By: tcody86. on 04 Aug 09, 16:12:27
Okay, so all of you who have posted your "expert opinions" about this ride, please tell me this: 1. How does YOUR riding compare to this? 2. How does the quality and talent of YOUR horse compare to Rusty 47? 3. How many World Cup/WEG/Olympic opportunities have YOU had? Perhaps, rather than to be the Dressage Queens in the stands, appreciate the work, interpretation, and quality of this pair.
By: tcody86. on 03 Aug 09, 05:25:45
It's Palladio
By: Elerian17. on 25 Jul 09, 14:20:41
When I compare THIS with the work of K.F.Hempfling for example, I cannot call it RIDING with a good conscience... Sorrey, not that I would ride on such level as them, but when I see it, I just can't call this prize-collector a RIDER.
By: katodovo. on 22 Jul 09, 19:41:11
agree with you completly, have any of you lot achieve what she and rusty have? guess not so get over yourselves, great horse and rider combo, such a shame the horse world is full of pathetic people who all they can do is criticise and not just enjoy or apprecieate such things, no wonder the rest of the world think horse people are stuck up their own asses with people like you
